Staff Bios

Christi Bush-Makin

Christi is our wonderful practice administrator that has been with our office for over fifteen years. Her organizational and interpersonal skills as well as her extensive optical background keeps the office running smoothly. We are blessed to have a solid leader taking care of our team as well as our patients.

Nickie

Nickie is an original staff member of CPVA since it was established in 2001. She is a jack-of-all trades with superior organizational skills and graciously works wherever she is needed. Her hard work and dedication to CPVA are incredibly appreciated.

Peg

Peg has been with the practice since it started in 2001 and most patients feel like they are visiting an old friend when they work with her. Peg personally helps select our frames and has an eye for choosing just the right frames for our patients. She has provided our office with over twenty years of top notch customer service.

Jessica

Jess became a member of Central Penn Vision in 2015 and is the primary optician in our State College office. She also manages our in house lab ensuring that lenses are ordered, edged, and assembled with the utmost care. Jess is an irreplaceable source of positive energy that radiates among staff and patients.

Tiffany

Tiff joined CPVA in 2017 and has become a well rounded member on our team. She usually manages the front desk but can also pretest for the doctors or help patients with their glasses selection. Tiff is very caring and compassionate with our patients and is detail oriented which makes her a true asset to our practice.

Emily

Emily joined our practice in 2021 and is one of our Opticians in the State College office. She has a vibrant, caring personality that is often heard laughing and chatting with our patients through out the office. Our Doctor’s love her attention to details and through work. We are very fortunate to have Emily as part of our CPVA team.

Alecia

Alecia “Our Southern Belle” came to CPVA from Arkansas in 2021. She is our Optometric technician in our Philipsburg office. Her sweet southern accent and kindhearted personality makes everyone feel welcomed in the office. We are very thankful to have her onboard.

Sophia

Sophia is the newest member to our CPVA team. She is the Optometric technician in our State College office. Her tenderhearted personality and fun sense of humor makes her a great addition to our practice. We are very grateful to have her part of the CPVA squad.
